Ponda Estate Vineyard
This month Ponda Estate asked us to
produce a website that reflected their simple approach to viticulture and close
knit family. The result can be seen at
www.pondaestate.com.au. We're particularly fond of 'Rex', the swing loving
rooster!
Windows 7 - our review
As a Microsoft Partner, we have been priviledged to have a pre-release of
Windows 7 for the last couple of months. Right out of the box, this operating
system has impressed me immensely. On the same hardware it runs significantly
faster than Vista, and startup time is especially quicker. Task management has
been greatly improved with a complete overhaul of the taskbar. It is a breeze to
hover over icons in the taskbar and see a preview of running tasks. Hover over
any of the live previews for more than a second and that window comes to the
front for a full preview, but just as conveniently, if you move the mouse away
without clicking, it disappears again to whichever layer it was on. Frankly I
don't know how I worked before without this feature.
There are far
too many features to go into any great detail here. The most succinct list I've
found is at
PC Authority. Suffice to say though that I wholeheartedly recommend looking
into Windows 7 as a viable performance upgrade, for improvements in both speed
and organisation.
